Mandated Reporting for all Therapists/Teachers

This guide contains links for mandated reporting for all Theapists/Teachers

Updated over 9 months ago

Typically, a report must be made when the reporter, in his or her official capacity,

suspects or has reason to believe that a child has been abused or neglected.

As practitioners and educators, YOU are a MANDATED REPORTER!

Mandated reporters are required to report the facts and circumstances that led them to suspect that a child has been abused or neglected.

YOU do not have the burden of providing proof that abuse or neglect has occurred.

NOTE: Specific rules/regulations may VARY by STATE. Please ensure you are aware of the info for the state in which YOU LIVE and the state in which you PRACTICE
