    • If unsure about report writing, contact your manager.

4. Mailed Protocols

  • Many psycho-educational, handwriting, and visual-motor assessments require sealed protocols to be sent to families.

  • Families are reminded to open protocols only during the session to maintain validity.

  • Protocols require 8-10 days for delivery; delays are possible—have a backup plan (e.g., printable materials or alternate assessments).

  • Encourage families to use a document camera when possible.

  • At the end of the session:

    • Have the family immediately send pictures of the completed booklet via text OR

    • Have them hold each page to the camera for you to screenshot OR

    • Use a return label to have documents mailed back to you (be sure to request this on the Assessment Request Form).

5. Assessment Resources

  • The Assessment List for Providers contains open-source assessments that may be reproduced.

  • Explore the assessment folder for applicable tools.

  • If you have an assessment you would like to share, please do so —do not upload copyrighted protocols.

6. Working in Q-Global

  • First-time assessors: If this is your first time assessing a student and you need access to Q-Global or WPS Online Services, email [email protected] to request login credentials.

Assigning Assessments

  • Remote Administration: Use for parent/teacher forms (e.g., Vineland, Sensory Profile). The system emails the link, and you’ll be notified upon completion.

  • Direct Administration: For live tests (e.g., GFTA, CELF, PPVT)

    1. Log into Q-Global before session

    2. Access Resource Library → Restricted Folder for stimulus manuals

    3. Share the manual via screen share during the session

    4. Allow client to point using mouse or pointer

7. Remote Administration Follow-Up

  • If forms are incomplete after one week or two sessions:

    • Send a reminder to the family

    • Share the link with the school so case managers can follow up

  • If still incomplete:

    • Conduct direct administration, OR

    • Complete report without results, noting that an addendum will be added once data is received.

8. Entering Scores in Q-Global

  1. Select examinee → open assessment record
