Operating Out of State Professionals
Policy
This policy establishes that licensed or credentialed professionals working with Enable My Child, dba HelloHero, must operate within the guidelines established by their state of residence and state(s) where services are being provided as it relates to licensure or credentialing in said states. In order to ensure the legitimacy of our providers, and services, and to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, contracts, and policies, HelloHero will require such professionals to receive manager approval and provide requisite documentation prior to operating from other United States than that which is their current listed state of residence or state of licensure. Procedures
Practitioners (other than teachers)
Professionals who are licensed or credentialed by states including but not limited to the following: Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech and Language Pathologists, Licensed Specialists in School Psychology, Licensed Professional Counselors, Mental Health Providers, and Licensed Certified Social Workers and who are going to relocate or operate outside of their home state for more than 2 weeks must do the following:
Check with the state licensing board in which they provide services to review their requirements for operating teletherapy.
Obtain documentation which may be an email or screenshot that will need to be shared with HelloHero.

Submit a request for approval from [email protected] using the process below:
Complete the SO01.1F Out of State Operation Form in Google Form (TBD) 30 days in advance whenever possible.
Once the form is submitted it is sent to [email protected] and [email protected]. If they approve they check ‘Approve’.
The Clinical approver then emails the provider, the Manager, and the Regional Managers to notify them of the provider, states, and dates applicable.

Violations of policy
Employees who have not received authorization in writing from HelloHero management will not be permitted to provide services to HelloHero clients or customers when located outside of their pre-approved states. Failure to follow HelloHero policies and procedures may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
